Below Deck Down Under’s Culver Bradbury and his bill fiasco may have made him the least popular crew member.
We’re nearing the end of Below Deck Down Under Season 2, and so far, Deckhand Culver Bradbury hasn’t exactly been a fan favorite.
First, he doesn’t do his job. Bosun João Franco even criticized him for being lazy. When he’s not spending more time with charter guests than his duties, he’s participating in a sailing trip with Steward Jaime Neales, which could have gone downhill.
Needless to say, Culver’s actions this season have not created a positive impression with viewers. And this situation may have pushed the growing hatred to the forefront.
What did Below Deck Down Under’s Culver do in Season 2?
In Episode 15, the crew enjoys a night out to rest and learn more about new Deckhand Luka Brunton. Everything was going well until the check arrived.
The crew has a system where one person is responsible for paying the bill. And even though the night arrived on Culver’s time, he still steadfastly refused to pay. Eventually Jaimee had to step in and cover the night, even though it wasn’t her responsibility.
Viewers were outraged by Culver’s cowardly act and discussed it in a Reddit thread.
One fan wrote: “Really annoying and like Culver was a little upset to avoid paying for the team dinner. He literally hid in a corner until someone else came in and joined the payment process once it was complete.”
Another fan chimed in and wrote: “So embarrassing to watch. It’s obvious what he’s trying to do and then he tries to act like he doesn’t know what’s going on. How is this 30 year old man?”
Can Culver win back the audience at the end of season 2? Only time will tell.
