This performance earned him a spot in Sports Illustrated’s Faces magazine on September 21, 2012. In 2013, Christian Arroyo was selected in the first round by the San Francisco Giants of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. first professional game with the Arizona League Giants hitting .326/.388/.511 with two home runs and 39 RBI on 184 hits in 45 games.
