Twitch streamer CohhCarnage has weighed in on the Starfield vs Cyberpunk 2077 debate, saying he “cannot believe” the debate even exists.
Starfield is one of the hottest releases of 2023 alongside Baldur’s Gate 3, improving on Bethesda’s sandbox features while keeping fan-favorite aspects — like the bucket-on-the-head glitch infamous, which was first introduced in Skyrim.
Cyberpunk 2077 is another game that has fans as passionate as Starfield’s release, despite receiving underwhelming reviews after its initial release. However, fans of both games couldn’t help but compare the two with popular streamers like CohhCarnage weighing in on the debate.

This streamer was shocked when fans compared the two games. “I still can’t believe people are bringing this up,” CohhCarnage said. “Don’t get me wrong, I like, I like Starfield. I love it. But there is a strange discussion going on.” He turned to the green screen behind him.
Then, in an exaggerated gesture toward the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay behind him, showing off a picturesque cityscape, he sarcastically asked: “really? Is Starfield better than that?”
Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t the most popular game at launch, CD Projekt Red said it was “fun to not like it”, but Starfield received more positive reviews from both fans and critics. Upon release, Dexerto called it “A bright star threatening to become a black hole.”
