A woman has gone viral after being ’emotional’ when she had food delivered to her table at IHop and the Internet isn’t too kind about it.
As TikTok has grown over the past few years, it has become home to many viral videos. Some have created a lot of memes and filled the Internet with laughter, but some have created backlash and negativity.
In the case of TikToker Ana Moreira (addictedtoana), she went viral on TikTok for a video of her ‘getting emotional’ while sitting at IHop and taking her food order.
The Brazilian girl was very excited to receive her plate of pancakes, however, the reaction of a woman in the background caught the attention of most people. She appeared disgusted as she watched Ana dance and cut her pancakes, and that’s what caused some online backlash.

Ana’s video has received more than 33 views on TikTok and more than 100 million retweets on Twitter/X. Many people created memes of the woman’s disgusted reaction in the background, while also questioning why the TikToker was dancing in her chair.
One viewer commented: “The girl in the back is very matter-of-fact about it.” “We are all the woman in the background,” another added. “The girl in the back doesn’t even mean she’s just being honest,” another viewer said. “I’ll be friends with the girl in the back.”
Others also stepped in to protect Ana. One person added: “These comments remind me that there are a lot of haters in the world who are annoying for no reason.”
The TikToker followed up her viral clip with another clip, poking fun at the reactions of the women behind it, noting that Ana arrived later than her but was still served first.
Ana responded to some malicious comments, including saying she ‘wanted to party’ with the women in the background to see if they could become friends.
However, the only thing that became a video was a brand new meme that the Internet was hunting for. So don’t expect any further collaborations anytime soon.
