There are many reasons why the Facebook app for iPhone and Android isn’t sending you notifications. You can adjust a few options here and there on your phone and in the app to get Facebook notifications again.

Below are various solutions to fix your Facebook notifications not working on Android and iOS.
1. Check your Internet connection
The first reason why you are not receiving Facebook notifications is due to poor Internet connection. You may be out of range of the Wi-Fi signal or the Internet may be down.
Open Settings on your smartphone and go to Wi-Fi. Select the network you usually connect to. Once connected, a blue check mark will appear next to the name. If the internet isn’t working, you may see No network available. On Android, open Settings and search for Wi-Fi, then select the first option.

- Go to Settings and navigate to Facebook.

- In the Options section, tap Notifications.
