The boys are back! Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the rest of the crazy gang are back Stupid forever. Why a group of middle-aged people would want to hurt themselves for our enjoyment is beyond me, but after watching the trailer, I agree 100%.
It opens with a black and white scene taken from the previous film Stupid movies interspersed with questions; “When was the last time you got together with old friends and had a good laugh?” it then cuts to the gang in the present day, with Knoxville uttering his famous line, “Hello. I’m Johnny Knoxville and welcome Stupid!”
What followed was two minutes of stupidity from the likes of Knoxville, Steve-O and returning stars Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey and Dave England. The crew is up to their usual antics, with scenes including exploding chairs, Knoxville being gored by a bull, and McGhehey being used as bear bait.

Knoxville also recruited some new members, with Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Jasper Dolphin and Zach Holmes appearing alongside their idols. There were also plenty of random celebrities in attendance, including AEW wrestler Darby Allin, comedian Eric Andre, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly all participating.
One notable absence was Bam Margera, who was dropped from the film during filming due to substance abuse.
While watching guys in their late 40s do stupid things isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, for those who are. StupidThis will definitely be another round of laughter.
Stupid forever will be released on October 22.
