Country musician and songwriter Jon Pardi and his wife Summer became parents for the first time on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The happy couple brought their son, Presley Fawn Pardi, into the world and shared the news on social media. Presley Fawn Pardi was born at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, according to Pardi, who posted a photo of his first-born online. The singer-songwriter captioned the Instagram image of him, revealing that the baby weighed seven pounds and twelve ounces:
“Our little daughter has arrived and is ready for Pardi, DAD kidding! @summer pardi. Pardi, Presley Fawn. 18•2•2023. 5:05 am. 20.25 inches, 7 pounds, 12 ounces.”
In September of last year, Jon and Summer Duncan Pardi announced their pregnancy.
Summer Duncan began dating Jon Pardi in 2017.
Summer Duncan, Jon Pardi’s wife, has been a hairstylist for over a decade and is from Northern California. According to Country Thang Daily, in the early 2010s, she ran a salon and spa in California, which now no longer exists. Summer reportedly met Pardi through a mutual acquaintance, who was a client of the former and a friend of Jon’s mother. The two then went on a date, which turned into a romance. Summer, during an interview, stated that the first five minutes of the date influenced her, and she immediately contacted her mother to tell her her story. Jon Pardi, on the other hand, finally said that he fell in love at first sight.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the Dirt On My Boots singer explained their first date, saying:
“She was the first woman I dated who made me feel like she had my back and that we really were a team. Summer is drop-dead gorgeous on the outside, but her heart and compassion are unmatched. We had a lot of fun together on every stage and we laughed constantly.”
After dating for almost three years, the Heartache Medicine singer proposed to his then-girlfriend and now wife, Summer Duncan, on October 2, 2019. They will tie the knot on November 21, 2020, in a private ceremony at the property Saddle Woods of Tennessee. However, Summer later explained that their wedding did not go as planned due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Summer also participated in Pardi Time, an eight-episode digital variety series based on the Write You a Song vocalist, on CMT. She rarely shares glimpses of her life on social media, but shortly after Presley Fawn Pardi was born, she posted a snapshot of her “close friend” on her Instagram. As previously noted, Summer and Jon Pardi announced their pregnancy in September via PEOPLE magazine, stating that they were thrilled to become a “Pardi of three.”
