Red Lobster is ditching its Cheddar Bay Biscuits for new Cheddar Bay Bread from April 1 – sort of.

Red Losbter is famous for its fresh seafood and the all-important Cheddar Bay biscuits to enjoy every last bit of deliciousness left on your plate. However, the restaurant chain announced that it is changing things up in a new statement:

“You heard that right! Now you can enjoy the warm, rich, buttery flavor that guests love about Cheddar Bay Biscuits in breadstick form – perfect for dipping and enjoying! Avocado Bread… Alfredo Bread… Scampi Bread – The new Cheddar Bay Breadsticks are the perfect tool to ensure no sauce is left behind.”

Heartbroken to say goodbye to Cheddar Bay biscuits?

Don’t worry, you don’t have to! Cheddar Bay breadsticks aren’t really a thing — except for the April Fool’s Day only at New York City’s Times Square location.

Every other company might be cracking jokes on this day, but Red Lobster will actually make these breadsticks. But don’t worry, you don’t have to part with your beloved cookies.

On Monday, April 1, guests who visit Red Lobster’s New York City Times Square location between 12:00pm – 7:00pm ET can try these This new Bay Cheddar Bread.

For one day only, NYC customers will have the chance to try Red Lobster’s red herrings, but get them while you can because they’ll only be available while supplies last, and the baguettes are limited to one basket above each table.
