Days after Carl Radke made a statement about breaking off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard – she has officially broken her silence.

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke made headlines this summer after Radke called off their engagement while filming season 8 of Summer House.

Although neither the episode nor the Season has aired yet, news of their relationship ending while filming hit the press in the last week of August this year.

A few weeks after their breakup, Radke sent a letter to his loved ones stating that he and Hubbard had fallen in love. Now, days later, Hubbard has broken her silence on the matter, saying it was not her decision to end things with her partner of four years.

Lindsay Hubbard says she feels “humiliated” after breaking up with Carl Radke

Hubbard and Radke met while filming Season 1 of BravoTV’s Summer House in 2016. Although they spent a few Seasons as just friends, their relationship took it up a notch new in Part 4.

The couple dated fairly steadily until their engagement in August 2022, celebrating along the way with co-stars like Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula, etc.

Although Hubbard and Radke were supposed to tie the knot this fall in a destination wedding in Mexico, Radke appears to have called off their engagement out of the blue. Radke kept quiet for about two weeks but finally released a statement about their breakup just a few days ago.

After Radke spoke out saying that he and Hubbard were “crushed,” Hubbard broke her silence this morning, taking to Instagram to share an update on her side of the split hand.

In Hubbard’s statement, she said that she never decided to end things with Radke, especially while filming was in progress, saying, “This was not my decision and I do not agree with giving up on a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first. I have spent the past few weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my closest friends, who have not left me and are picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout.”

Hubbard also explained how humiliated she has been since the split: “The past two weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life. My entire life and future had been ripped out from underneath me and I had a hard time making sense of it all – with no answers or conclusions as to why. I feel humiliated that it happened, and at the same time heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust had been betrayed and accepting that was difficult for me.”

She then thanked her fans, friends and family for their undying support, saying: “I’m still grieving and trying to process all that’s happened, but I think it’s important. It’s important to keep you all updated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and support from my friends, family, co-stars and all of you who have been with me through it.”
