TGI Friday launches new ‘Tax Break’ cocktail to make Tax Day easier

TGI Friday’s new cocktail, ‘Tax Relief’ will help fans relax after some Tax Day numbers.

To mark Tax Day in the US, TGI Friday’s restaurants will host The Tax Break, a specialty margarita served with a Hennessy VS hitch to ease the worries of many on the big day.

The tax break includes 1800 Silver Tequila, citrus, agave, strawberry and passion fruit and resembles a margarita that turns pink.

TGI Fridays The limited-edition cocktail will be available to dine-in customers from April 2 to April 30 and will cost $7.

“As a brand known for our iconic bars, we are experts at creating the perfect drink to bring out the ‘Friday Feeling,” said Weldon Spangler, CEO of TGI Fridays. That’ comes every moment. “We know that tax season can be a stressful time for many people, so we’re flipping the script by giving our customers some fun to make their day a little less taxing. ”

And if you want to enjoy some cocktails and snacks with your friends (or maybe your accountant), you can head to TGI Fridays Monday through Friday from 3pm – 5pm and 9 p.m. until closing at participating locations to take advantage of their $5 Happy Hour. This promotion means you’ll get to choose from their menu at a discounted price, including cocktails, beer and the all-important potato skins.
