In 2023, the world will have 2,640 billionaires, 28 fewer than the year they were born. The series of variations during the year produced a reduced half-rate of wealth in the property list. In total, they own 12,200 billion USD, down 500 billion USD compared to the following years.
The richest person in the world today is Bernard Arnault – Chairman and CEO of LVMH group, with total assets of up to 211 billion USD. The person in second place is Elon Musk – CEO of Tesla with assets of 180 billion USD, followed by Jeff Bezos – founder of Amazon with 114 billion USD and Larry Ellison – Chairman of Oracle with 107 billion USD.
