So, they were expecting that the second season of the show would not be long in coming but now it seems as the second season of 1923 is not coming anytime soon. NBC Montana confirmed that production on the second season was scheduled to begin in Butte this month and that the production company has also signed a lease for the Butte Civic Center to film there. During filming of season one in 1923, the Civic Center was closed for most of 2022 as the production company rented it for $75,000 a month. The show’s cast confirmed that Brendon Sklenar, who plays Spencer Dutton, will be her last. The actor said: “It’s still limited but I think of it as one piece, there’s only a split in the middle but it’s all one piece.
