A group of McDonald’s employees have gone viral after revealing the strangest things they’ve ever heard customers say on their headsets.

A McDonald’s employee posted on Reddit about one of the strangest things he’s ever heard on his headphones. He wrote:

“Mine was when it was slow one evening, my colleague meowed through the headphones and another responded with a ‘bark’ which caused us all to make various animal noises. A customer pulled up and the guy sitting in the back went to press the middle button but accidentally pressed the button to talk outside so the customer only heard ‘Moooo’

“Then we all laughed like crazy,” they wrote.

Definitely one of my most memorable interactions,” another user wrote.

McDonald’s employees share their own headphone mishaps

However, some workers admitted that they were the ones who caused the incident and wrote: “My friend accidentally asked if a man wanted a large glass to drink – instead of a coke.”

Another responded with a mistake they kept making after starting their job: “When I first started, (I said) ‘Hi, Welcome to Tim Horton’s, I can take orders Is it yours?'”

One customer also wrote about their own strange experience: “I was the customer in this case. I approached the speaker and was greeted by a gentleman. As I was about to order, I was interrupted by another greeting from a girl. I don’t know why but this happens to me a lot, laugh out loud, they shared.

“It was a little boring, I was like ‘Um, there was a gentleman who helped me?’ And she said ‘Oh, he’s not a real person.’ Slightly confused by her answer, I cheekily replied ‘Oh, yeah are YOU a real person?’ I was then met with a pleasant silence, followed by amused laughter.

“I went through the rest of the trip as normal as if nothing unusual happened. I didn’t know what to make of that interaction, but it was definitely one of the strangest I’ve ever had. Hopefully it made someone’s boring day better and they figured out who wasn’t who they were and fired them.”
