A group of McDonald’s employees have gone viral after revealing the strangest things they’ve ever heard customers say on their headsets.
A McDonald’s employee posted on Reddit about one of the strangest things he’s ever heard on his headphones. He wrote:
“Mine was when it was slow one evening, my colleague meowed through the headphones and another responded with a ‘bark’ which caused us all to make various animal noises. A customer pulled up and the guy sitting in the back went to press the middle button but accidentally pressed the button to talk outside so the customer only heard ‘Moooo’

“Then we all laughed like crazy,” they wrote.

People were quick to respond with their own experiences, with one writing: “At NYE, we stopped for 20 minutes just to listen to this woman complain about her child because she missed her death.” her grandmother to hang out with her friends.”

Another revealed a confusing question she received from a customer; “Someone asked me if burgers come with meat.”
“Early February, working from 10-3:30 am. And around 1:00 a guy driving a black car showed up and asked me where I was from, I said Socal (I live in Socal) and then he asked my race. I said black and he started rambling, saying there is no color or race and we are all one people.

“Then he started talking about community and how everyone is apathetic these days, and the world is a terrible place because of it. Then he started talking about Christianity and gave me a Spanish bible (I told him I only read/speak English but he still made me keep it). Definitely one of my most memorable interactions,” another user wrote.

However, some workers admitted that they were the ones who caused the incident and wrote: “My friend accidentally asked if a man wanted a large glass to drink – instead of a coke.”

Another responded with a mistake they kept making after starting their job: “When I first started, (I said) ‘Hi, Welcome to Tim Horton’s, I can take orders Is it yours?'”

One customer also wrote about their own strange experience: “I was the customer in this case. I approached the speaker and was greeted by a gentleman. As I was about to order, I was interrupted by another greeting from a girl. I don’t know why but this happens to me a lot, laugh out loud, they shared.
“It was a little boring, I was like ‘Um, there was a gentleman who helped me?’ And she said ‘Oh, he’s not a real person.’ Slightly confused by her answer, I cheekily replied ‘Oh, yeah are YOU a real person?’ I was then met with a pleasant silence, followed by amused laughter.

“I went through the rest of the trip as normal as if nothing unusual happened. I didn’t know what to make of that interaction, but it was definitely one of the strangest I’ve ever had. Hopefully it made someone’s boring day better and they figured out who wasn’t who they were and fired them.”
