Hardest Geezer completed the 10,000-mile run across Africa in nearly a year

YouTuber ‘The Hardest Geezer’ has finally completed a more than 10,000-mile journey spanning across Africa.

On April 7, 27-year-old Russ Cook completed the challenge of running the length of Africa in a total of 352 days.

Despite various setbacks, including some health issues and being robbed at gunpoint, The Hardest Geezer made it through and logged more than 10,000 miles to complete the challenge.

He ran from the northernmost point of Africa to the southernmost point of Africa, which also caused him to face many Visa problems along the way, but was able to pass through all 16 countries to to the finish line.

On his last day, he set out once again for his final marathon. A few hours later, he finally reached the finish line in Tunisia and ended a nearly year-long journey.

Supporters from around the world waited online and in person to greet him as The Hardest Geezer completed the remarkable challenge equivalent to running 385 marathons in less than a year.

This YouTuber documented the entire journey through a series of vlogs on his channel and has raised more than $720,000 for charity at the time of writing. However, that number is rapidly increasing as he completes his journey through all the trials and tribulations.
