How to add spoiler tags to messages on Discord
The easiest way to add spoiler tags on Discord is to use the /spoiler command. This command works on both desktop and mobile apps. When writing a message, first add /spoiler to the text box and then type your message.
When you post your message, it will appear with a dark box above it. Users will need to click on this message to see the text.
However, you can’t add images to these messages, and the spoiler command will overwrite any images you’ve attached.
This is a useful command and one of the Discord tricks you should know for an enjoyable messaging experience. Tags work in regular text channels as well as text chat for Discord voice channels.
How to add spoiler tags to a discord message section
If you only want to add a spoiler tag to a portion of your message, you should use a highlight button or a dedicated spoiler button.
For the highlighting method, you simply add two vertical bars (||) around the text you want to tag as a spoiler. This feature also works when editing messages, so it’s helpful if you accidentally mention a spoiler without adding a tag.

Tap the plus icon next to the chat box and select an image from your gallery.
