One woman took to TikTok to discuss the differences between Costco and Sam’s Club branches, and people took it so seriously that she had to address some of the backlash.
In the video, which has attracted more than 500,000 views, TikToker Kelly said: “The difference between Costco chicken wings and Sam’s chicken wings is ridiculous.”
Food and Disney TikToker recommends that people choose Costco because they are much larger than their competitors.
However, while the video caused a stir, it was difficult for people to participate in the debate when she turned off the comments section.

However, Kelly posted a follow-up video in which she addressed the first video and turned off comments. “Commenting is disabled because reading the same comment 100 times is unnecessary. Also, just because someone posts a video doesn’t mean you have the right to leave a comment. I’m not here to spread the word,” she said.

“Just want to help people save money because life is very expensive these days… If you have money to buy hormone-free chicken, I’m happy for you! Buy all the chicken from wherever you want. These videos are for entertainment purposes if you like a lot of meat on your wings like I do.”

This hints at the controversy surrounding the first video, with some concerned that the Costco wings were injected with hormones to increase their size.
However, Kelly is right if you’re looking for value, as Costco is much cheaper than Sam’s Club. For a 10-pound bag of chicken wings, the price would be $17.98 at Costco versus $31.99 at Sam’s Club.
Another Costco customer also went viral recently after they were kicked out of the store for buying too many plates of dumplings.
