It’s only available in Taiwan, but Pizza Hut just released a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pizza creation that would make Michelangelo proud.
While fast food restaurants often feature local delicacies on their menus in foreign locations, Pizza Hut Taiwan has reached a whole different level with this latest creation.
Sora News reporter Yui Imai showed off this new limited edition special cake, called Mugwort Cheese Mochi Rice Cake Tortoise Pizza. This cake is a new variation of the traditional Taiwanese mugwort dumpling called cao zai guo, often filled with sweet red bean paste.
This pizza is stuffed and topped with traditional ingredients including bean paste and chopped dried daikon radish, but topped with french fries and stir-fried shrimp. But those additions aren’t the biggest draw to the creation.

Instead of the traditional round shape, this pizza is turtle-shaped, with a round shell surrounded by four flippers and a head. The head is covered in green mochi mogwort and red bean paste, making it look like a Ninja Turtle’s headband.

The result, according to Imai, is a cheesy treat that creates a “delicious sweet and salty flavor combination.”
This isn’t the first time Pizza Hut has shown its love for the Turtles, as the chain had a special offer last year in conjunction with the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

But none of their previous collaborations can touch a creation that puts a cheesy version of Donatello on your plate.
