MrBeast revealed that reposting his old YouTube videos on X (formerly Twitter) helped him earn a large amount of money.
Since first testing Elon Musk’s advertising revenue system on X, MrBeast has posted many old YouTube videos to the platform. With X’s ad revenue pipeline only recently added since Musk took over, MrBeast took it upon himself to determine whether the potential earnings were worth it.
Now, MrBeast has revealed the results of his test, sharing how many views his old videos got on X alone… and in turn, how much money he made.

According to MrBeast, all the videos have received over 100 million views, with the most viewed video being $1 Cars vs. $100,000,000 Cars with 177 million. In total, MrBeast said he has now earned “about a million in ad revenue,” rating his experience using X for video content as “excellent.”
“I’m just adding it to my video budget so now I can spend more on content,” the internet sensation said, revealing how he plans to spend the money.

MrBeast’s fans congratulated him on his high earnings, with one person writing: “Not too bad for old videos that many people have seen.”

“I can only imagine the opportunities this will open up for your content creation,” said another. “Looking forward to seeing the creative results!”
MrBeast is also clearly pleased with the result, tweeting“I’m quitting YouTube… now posting full time on X.”
While fans thought he was joking, Musk himself encouraged the switch, meet with“Actually, you should.”
