A mother and daughter were “humiliated” after a man sitting next to them on a flight to Sydney urinated in a cup.
Holly was on her way to visit her sister, flying with her 15-year-old daughter from Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia, when their flight experience was ruined by a drunk man sitting next to her.
The 53-year-old man was assigned a window seat next to the mother and child when they heard him urinate into a cup after the plane landed.
Speaking to Stuff Travel, Holly said: “We heard him do it. There was no mistaking what the sound was and I just looked straight at my daughter and my daughter looked straight at me. It’s very clear what’s going on.”

“Yes, he pulled his naked penis out next to us at least three times,” she continued. “That just gives me goosebumps.”
The man allegedly tried to hide evidence of his urination by emptying the cup into the toilet, but tripped and spilled a “large amount of urine” on a flight attendant.

Informing staff of the situation, Holly said she and her daughter were “humiliated” after they were both escorted off the plane along with the man by the Australian Federal Police to give a statement.
Australian Federal Police told Stuff Travel the man has been charged with offensive or disorderly conduct affecting safety. Following a hearing at Downing Center Local Court on February 21, the man was fined A$600 (US$394.86).
