Top Elite Wrestling star Athena decided to compete in her latest championship match dressed as Karlach from Baldur’s Gate 3.
The professional wrestler revealed this outfit during her ROH Woman’s Champion match against Hikaru Shida on April 5. This is not the first time Athena has dressed like this; last year she had a similar look to the Batman villain Bane.
Thinking about the cast of Baldur’s Gate 3, Karlach is definitely the most logical person for a female professional wrestler to cosplay.
Sure, you could make an argument for Lae’zel, and maybe even Minthara, but Karlach’s barbarian class fits the sport a lot better. It also means the costume doesn’t require you to have part of your nose removed.

Athena also publicly thanked Larian Studios and Dungeons & Dragons on social media for letting her dress as Karlach, whom she describes as “my favorite character.”
She’s certainly not alone in that sentiment. Karlach has always been one of the most popular characters from Baldur’s Gate 3, so much so that Larian changed his original ending to be a bit more optimistic due to popular demand.
