Streaming star xQc had to end his broadcast early after feeling severely dizzy and nauseous due to an apparent ear infection – a frequent problem for content creators.
Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel worried viewers during a broadcast on April 4 when he began complaining of dizziness and ear pain.
During part of the broadcast, xQc got up from his chair and ran to the bathroom, returning to explain what was happening in his chat.
“Dude, this damn ear, I’m losing my balance,” he said. “Oh my God. I just had severe dizziness. Hey man, I’m really going to have to go to the hospital.”

“This is like the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my fucking life,” he continued. “My ear infection is getting worse. I’m so dizzy. It’s disgusting. …everything is spinning. Now it’s worse than being drunk, I’m not kidding.”

Chatters urged the streamer to seek medical attention due to the severity of his symptoms. Finally, xQc ended the broadcast to lie down to rest, saying he “couldn’t convey” the pain and admitting he couldn’t even “see the screen clearly.”
The next day, xQc told viewers that he finally went to the hospital, saying that the doctors refused to give him ear drops and that his “ear membranes were perfect” and his ears “There’s nothing in there.”

This is not the first time this female streamer has suffered from debilitating ear pain. In 2023, xQc revealed that he had suffered a double ear infection from reusing moldy towels for a month, and urged fans to change their towels regularly.
According to Penn Medicine, swelling of the inner ear – medically known as ‘Labyrinthitis’ – can cause dizziness and hearing loss. Labyrinthitis can be caused by a virus or bacteria, and sometimes, the condition can be caused by an ear infection.
