Jacquelyn Kenny has a detailed plan for how she’ll spend the money from The Floor Season 1, and some of it will go toward student loans.
FOX is known for its many reality television shows, including the popular singing competition Masked Singer and the physical challenge Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.
That said, The Floor is in a class of its own. With 81 contestants in the first season, each will put their trivia skills to work in hopes of winning $250,000.
The eventual Season 1 winner was Jacquelyn Kenny and she didn’t hesitate to reveal to us in an exclusive interview what she plans to do with the money.

While speaking with Jacquelyn, the first winner revealed her plans to spend her prize money.
“I’m so excited to use some money to take my family on a fun vacation this year! I am currently in the planning process and open to all suggestions,” she said.

“Then this money will help me pay some bills (New York City is a great place but expensive!), and student loans, and the rest will go to savings and investments .”
Now that she’s a trivia champion, Jacquelyn also offers her best tips on how potential future contestants can win cash prizes like she did.

“The word ‘overcome’ is your best friend,” Jaquelyn said. It’s easy to forget that when you’re dueling on it you can pass on clues. Yes, it takes you three seconds, but those three seconds are probably less than the time you waste giving wrong answers.”
“If I don’t recognize a clue right away, I’ll guess at it once, maybe then ignore it immediately. Dueling is a race against time so don’t be afraid to go overboard and talk fast! An extra “um” or a long pause before responding can cost you.”
